כחלק מפרויקט ליצירת מסורת קאלצ'אקרה במאה ה -21, בוחנת תכנית הלימוד את המשבר הנוכחי שלנו וכיצד אנו כפרטיים יכולים להשתתף ביצירת תרבות חדשה.

טנטרת הקאלצ'אקרה מדברת על הדהרמה הברברית כתורתם או כאידיאולוגיה של אלה, שכמו סוציופתים, משתמשים באלימות ובאכזריות בעת המרדף אחר מטרותיהם המטריאליסטיות. אנו יכולים לראות שתורה זו מתקיימת באופן ברור בחלקים רבים של העולם כיום.

בהנחייתו של אנדי, נבחן את שורשיה של האידיאולוגיה המזיקה הזו ונכיר מקרוב את הדרך החיובית הרדיקלית שתאפשר לנו לראות נִכוחה את אותה אידיאולוגיה ומעֶבֶר לה באמצעות הדהרמה הטהורה של חוכמה וחמלה, שזִרעה טמון בלב כל יצור חי. אלה הם הזרעים של טרנספורמציה אקולוגית, חברתית ואישית חיובית.

לאורך המפגשים נחקור את תהליך ההתמוטטות החברתית ונלמד איך להגיב באופן חיובי. נמצא דרכי הסתגלות, נלמד כיצד ליצור הרמוניה בין חמשת היסודות על ידי תרגול שיטות המחזקות מחדש את היסודות בתוך הפרט, לא רק באופן שמועיל לאותו אדם, אלא גם באופן שישפיע יותר על החברה והסביבה. השיטות שנלמד יכולות להחזיר את היציבות הפנימית והחיצונית ואת האיזון ההרמוני הבסיסי.

השיעורים יכללו גם מדיטציות שתעביר שאן טייט (בת זוגו של אנדי ובעלת ניסיון רב בהעברת מדיטציות), קבוצות דיון ואפשרות לשאלות ותשובות.

This programme is designed for the times we are living through. It is based on the ancient Buddhist tradition of Kalacakra, the Wheel of Time, which understands the rise and fall of individual life, universes and civilisations to be cyclical and interconnected. As part of a project to create a Kalacakra tradition for the 21st century, this programme explores our current crisis and how we as individuals might participate in the creation of a new civilisation.

The Kalacakratantra speaks of the barbarian dharma as the doctrine or ideology of those who, like sociopaths, utilise violence and cruelty in pursuit of their materialistic goals. We can see this doctrine manifestly operating in many parts of the world today. Guided by Andy Wistreich, we begin by exploring the roots of this harmful ideology, and then consider the radical positive way to see through and beyond it: the pure Dharma of wisdom and compassion, whose seed lies in the heart of every living being. These are seeds of positive ecological, social and personal transformation.

Throughout the meetings we will investigate the process of societal collapse and how to respond positively. We will find ways of adaptation, learn how to harmonize the elements by practicing methods that reharmonize the elements within the individual, not only benefit
that person, but have a wider impact on society and the environment. Such practices can restore the inner and outer stability and balance of elemental harmony.

The teachings will include meditations lead by Shan Tate, breakout discussion groups and a question and answer session.
